What this is

WOM turns narrative into data and pays creators for impact. The Referral Program (Phase 1) pays the people who spark that impact — the connectors, deal brokers, and community leads who convince founders to run WOM Campaigns.

  • Who earns: anyone with a WOM account and wallet-linked referral link.

  • What triggers: a referred founder/project lead launches and funds a WOM Campaign.

  • What you earn: 10% of WOM’s fee from that campaign, paid on-chain after finalization.

  • Why it matters: it weaponizes word-of-mouth - the thing crypto already runs on - and makes it measurable.

The founder launches a campaign through your link.

Finalization & payout

When the campaign finalizes, WOM pays 10% of WOM’s fee to your wallet on-chain.

  • Tier 2 campaign ($10,000 budget → $1,350 WOM fee) → you earn $135.

  • Three Tier 1s + one Tier 3 in a month → $75 + $75 + $75 + $187.50 = $412.50.

  • Quarterly bonus : power referrers (>5 campaigns/quarter) may receive boosted % during promos.

Terms & fair play

  • We pay only for qualified referrals: the project lead must launch & fund a campaign through your link.

  • Self-referrals (same wallet/org cluster) or fraud attempts are denied.

  • WOM reserves the right to deny or claw back rewards for bots, farms, plagiarism, or brigading.

  • Payouts are processed post-finalization to reduce abuse and align with impact.

Roadmap — Phase 2 (heads-up)

We’ll add a Creator Referral Pool: a separate 10% of WOM fee revenue distributed to users who onboard active creators/participants (those who actually join campaigns). This completes the network-effect loop while keeping payouts performance-based.

WOM is permissionless attention infrastructure. If you can spark narrative, we’ll make sure you’re compensated for it.

FAQ

Do I need to hold 50k WOM to be a referrer?

No. The 50k WOM gate is for creators who post. Referrers only need a WOM account and wallet-linked invite.

When do I get paid?

After the referred campaign finalizes and WOM’s fee settles on-chain.

Can multiple people claim the same founder?

The reward goes to the first valid referral link used by the founder when they create the campaign.

Can I see what I’m owed?

Yes — your dashboard shows per-campaign status and a running total. On-chain payouts will match those numbers.
